You’re Stupid and You Make Bad Choices - MAY 19 - 2012

OK! You know this is so true! This cracked me up! A lot of things do happen for a reason — they teach you lessons, make you smarter, make you more compassionate, help you teach others. BUT SOMETIMES there is absolutely no good reason other than you were just so dumb. Haha! The past 6 years have unfortunately held many of these “I was stupid and made a bad choice” moments. And sometimes you just make a bad choice and it was stupid, but you just don’t even care! (OK. This entire post is so cringe. My self esteem was honestly not much I guess. But this is what I was feeling at the time so it remains part of my story. But I would ask every young girl to NOT do this)
TIME FOR CONFESSION! If you don’t already know this story, you are about to hear a good one. This one makes me the poster child for the very photo posted above, but someone needs to learn from my choices, so I must share here:
3 years ago, I was heading for a nice Sunday dinner to HIS house. OK, for the sake of making it easier, let’s call him WILLOW from now on (You know, the main character from that movie?) So, looking forward to a nice steak and corn on the cob. Well, during this dinner, Willow decides to tell me that some girl he went on a couple dates with (in between one of our 2-month hiatus breaks) was coming over. THAT’S RIGHT. Coming over, on her way, which meant I had to eat and run. I was like, you’re joking, right? Who invites an ex over for dinner and asks her to go so another one can come over? And at that, he told me he was telling her that he no longer wanted to see her or talk to her.
CUT TO WHAT REALLY HAPPENED:
After I went home from dinner shocked and annoyed at being hurried off, I got a call from Willow’s roommate. That’s right — the SAME friend that has been texting me to protect his boyfriend. Let’s just call him JACK (from now on…you know, Jack, from Will and Grace?). Well, Jack asked if I was doing alright and proceeded to tell me that I should know what Willow and this girl were making out on the couch. WHHHAAATTT??????? I mean, really, how does it go from “I’m going to tell her I no longer want to see her” to getting some???????? Jack must have sensed my irritation or caused it on purpose, but he asked if I needed company. In my fit of annoyance, I said yes and knew what was coming.
To keep it short:
Jack and I made out, and FOR A LONG TIME…(This is where I would punch myself in the face if I could go back in time) I am not sure if it was built up from something else or just a reaction to what Willow had decided to pull, but it happened. TRUE. Jack was not only the overprotective best friend but was his roommate as well, and though it takes two to tango, I did this — maybe in hopes of saying to Willow, once and for all, THIS WILL GET YA GONE!
Well, Jack told me not to tell Willow, and of course, because of our undying loyalty to each other, I told him all of it. While I was banned from their house by Jack for a few months for betraying him, Willow ended up getting over it, said he understood why I did it, and didn’t care.
NOW granted, I agree that story is MESSED UP, but I would probably do it again if put in the same situation. (EW STOP!!!) But it changed Jack and me. Willow forgives and forgets, and that could be part of the reason we have held on so tight. BUT JACK, HE DOES NOT FORGET. And though I seriously think he is truly in love with Willow for the way he defends him so deep, I know I got in this thing at some point… hmmmm, and maybe it is ME he has been in love with this entire time???????????
Hahahahahahahaha
